Never too long in the tooth!

1st April 2025 was our 45th birthday so we invited members of our Ruabon Road family to celebrate with us. Mr Anthony Reed bought number 96 Ruabon Road in 1980 with Mr Bloor and converted the building in to a 3 surgery practice. "That was the first time we called ourselves Ruabon Road Dental Practice which was illegal at the time as you could use the dentists' names to advertise". Following a tour of the refurbished building Mr Reed said "it is wonderful to see what Dan and the team have done to the old place in the last 20 years since I retired, particularly the sideways expansion in to No 94". Mr Dermot Ryan loved the stories our patients sent in to commemorate our 25th birthday particularly the lady who remembers the day that McDonalds opened in Wrexham. "We told our children they had a dental appointment after school then walked them to town. When we arrived at McDonalds we said "Surprise, you're having a Happy Meal not a check-up" our daughter burst in to tears "but Mummy I really wanted to see Mr Ryan!" Our anniversary was honoured by an official visit of the Mayor of Wrexham Council and her Consort. Practice Manager Suzanne Davies gave a guided tour of the premises including the newly added tenth surgery and equippped training facility. The Mayor presented our Clinical Director Dan Naylor with a plaque acknowledging 45 years of dental care to the residents of Wrexham and beyond. Dan commented "We are extremely proud of our journey and grateful of the support our patients have shown over the years. To mark this milestone our team would like to give back to the community by participating in local projects and charity fund-raising events throughout 2025.
